After Steven's afternoon nap on Friday, I got us all ready for the pool. I was very excited because we hadn't been in a while since he was sick the first part of the week. We had sunscreen and bathing suits on and I had our bag packed. I had just started feeding him his bottle (our last step before leaving) and I heard thunder. Oh well...at least I got these pics out of all the preparation and thankfully had not put his swim diaper on (they do not hold liquid very well as I found out for myself last time we were at the pool). He's not fond of his sunglasses so they don't stay on very long, but I got this one pic with them. I think Steven was even disappointed.
OK, somehow I TOTALLY didn't see thsi post. Regardless, I love the pic of him staring longingly out the glass door! Too cute! I bought some of those little swimmers or whatever they are called (swim diapers) but they look way too much like a speedo. Thankfully, T also has a swimsuit that doesnt have a built in swim diaper, so I just cut out the liner (what's the point to have a liner for an infant?!) and put the shorts over the swim diaper. I agree, though, they don't hold liquid... just #2 :)
I am a full-time stay-at-home mom and loving it! Charlton is an in-house attorney for an energy company (somebody's got to pay the bills)! In April 2006, we moved into our first house in the (Ok, we admit it) suburbs. We were so excited to move back to Texas in the summer of 2005 after a three year hiatus to Philadelphia for law school. We learned to love Philly but when it came right down to it...it's just not Texas! September 2006, Steven arrived. He is our greatest blessing and brings us so much joy. Welcome to our family blog.

Those are some funny faces!
Maybe this week.
Sunglasses and hats ... how do we keep them on the boys??
I thought the point of the swim diapers was to hold liquid? I've never heard anyone have a problem with them!
We have the same sunglasses and Lunden calls them his goggles.
Cute pics.

I love the serious face he has with the sunglasses on!
