Steven's walking and we just can't get enough of it. He took 4 steps together on the Fourth of July (very appropriate and easy for me to remember) and then a few days later walked about 6 or 7. At that time, he would take them when he thought no one was watching and would sit down if we tried to get him to walk to us- he was doing it on the sly for practice I guess. Then he started getting more bold and taking a few steps between furniture. But now he's a crazy man on the loose and it's really cute. Of course, we get really excited when he walks so now he looks at us for a reaction every time. It kills us because he gets excited and claps for himself (a recent development) sometimes in the middle of walking. He's getting to be a really good little walker. He also learned this weekend how to give us "five." He gets excited about that too. Usually we say, "Steven give Daddy five," he does and then we all laugh, cheer "yea", and clap. We do it over and over again. I keep thinking he's going to get tired of it but it's our new favorite game.

Yay for Steven! When did he start sitting on his own? Tegan is getting very close, but still int he phase where he just leans right over to his toes and then starts grunting as it squishes his tummy! Too cute! Saige is just precious and BEAUTIFUL! Wow! I know what you mean about the girlie sounds! Tegan is SUCH a boy, grunting and such and my neice is so girly and squealy. Isn't it strange how theya re so different even when they are this young?!
Yay! I'm so proud of him! I can't wait to see him walk.
Way to go Steven !!!
He is growing and maturing so very fast. With him walking, I bet you find yourself walking and running more, chasing him :o)
Have fun ... the best is yet to come !!!
YAY, Steven! I love his facial expressions in the pictures - they made me giggle - so cute :0). He's such a big boy. I think Hattie will be driving before she's walking at the rate we're going. She did take one step today but it was b/c I bribed her with my cell phone. Then "plop" back on the ground.
What a big accomplishment for Steven. You must be so proud. He's a cutie.
Can't wait to see Steven walk!! I am proud to say that he gave my hubby his first "five"!! Miss you guys!
